101 Collins Street is Melbourne’s most prestigious building, located at the fashionable ‘Paris’ end of Collins Street.

With a height of 256 meters and 44 floors of stunning office space, 101 Collins Street embraces classical building forms in its elegant use of glass, and granite and marble hailing from Italy, Spain and Brazil.

Opening in 1991, the building was designed by Melbourne architectural firm Denton Corker Marshall.

The foyer – designed by noted New York postmodern architect John Burgee – is one of Melbourne’s enduring architectural landmarks, featuring tranquil water pools with 23 carat gold leaf highlights and travertine columns.

101 Collins Street has achieved a 4.0 star NABERS Energy rating, a 5.0 star NABERS Indoor Environment rating and a 3.5 star NABERS Water rating. It is home to the highest commercial solar panel system in Australia, producing about 47,000 kilowatt hours of energy each year.
